The New England Chapter of the Association of Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) is dedicated to professional development, networking, public outreach, and advocacy in support of robotic vehicle systems with a particular focus on the New England region.
While robotics have become more common place in industrial manufacturing, the industry has evolved to cover land, air and maritime applications.
New England has hundreds of companies (large and small) working on the advancement, development and production of unmanned systems. Applications range from household & consumer items to civil and military applications, and everyday, unmanned technologies provide everything from cleaning services to search and rescue missions to improving our lives.
By taking on all manner of dull, dirty and dangerous jobs, robotics and autonomous systems help us to observe, record, understand and enhance our physical world.
