AUVSI New England participated in MassEcon Robotics Industry Roundtable at WPI Higgis House on October 15 2015.
The Roundtable was moderated by Prof. Mike Gennert: Director of Robotics Engineering Program at WPI.
The Panelists were:
- Tye Brady: Chief Technologist at Amazon Robotics
- Dan Theobald: CTO & Co-Founder at Vecna
- Russell Singleton: Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Medrobotics.
The discussion included developing the state of Massachusetts as a powerhouse in robotics research and their use, especially in manufacturing, across the world.
MassTLC’s MassRobotics cluster was seen as an uber-incubator for the Commonwealth.
